Pyramid of Kha'Sheth

The great pharaoh, Kha’Sheth, is now at rest. His people mourn as they reflect on all the good he did for their growing nation, especially in his final days, leading them into battle against the Lich King and his army. And while “victory” was fortunately theirs to claim, it came at a terrible cost—a sacrificial death. The pharaoh’s lifeless body was returned home for a proper burial in the Crypt of Kings. His servants dressed the fatal wounds with precious oils, sweet fragrances, and linen cloth, dabbing carefully at the mysterious blackened flesh surrounding the lacerations. They finished the mummification ritual by removing the organs and wrapping the corpse, then lowered their beloved ruler into a sarcophagus of pure gold. But as they were about to close its lid, one of them was almost certain she saw a twitch from his freshly mummified hand.

OBJECTIVE

Make your way through the burial pyramid’s many levels to find the pharaoh’s corrupted corpse and rid it of the malice that the Lich King inflicted upon him. If not addressed quickly, the mummy lord will escape his stone tomb and wreak havoc on the grieving nation. The battle against the Lich King had been won, but the war is not over.
