I used this module for my first time being the DM for our group! With a couple of well placed additions we had an absolute blast playing! We plan on running another module from Rune on our next IRL event. Thanks so much!!!
It fun but the building mechanic is a little confusing
Great addition to our campaign. We used it for one of the long rests the party made. It was a lot of fun, everyone was super excited and loved it! Keep them coming!
wonderfully indepth and the provided maps, descriptions and characters are made very well.
Finally got a chance to run this - our school had a "cabin fever" day with fun activities for the students instead of regular classes. Putting this one-shot in an hour-long time frame made it less fun than it would have been if we had more time, but it still worked very nicely. Even with some first-ever gamers in the group, the story/actions flowed well. There was enough wiggle room that the more-creative and more-experienced players didn't feel as though they were being railroaded. One of the groups that ran the one-shot had a zombie that refused to die...it took eight hits to wipe out its last HP, which made them both amused and frustrated.
