The aggressive expansion of empires threatens the forested homes of the Druids. Lumber used to construct cities and settlements rips away sacred land becoming more and more scarce. Some fight back to protect their habitats, others travel great distances in search of new territories, and a brave few adapt to their new home in a nearby place not even the most adventurous settlers would go—the carnivorous jungle of Fangroot. It’s here you and your fellow teenage druids must quickly learn a new way of survival or become someone else’s lunch.
OBJECTIVE
Start your journey at the outer edge of the carnivorous jungle and cautiously make your way into its center where you plan to establish a new home near The Mother Tree for you and your fellow Druid tribe. But beware the unpredictable pitfalls and perennial predators along the way, for they are many.

10 minutes before our regular DnD session two members had to drop out. I didn't want to continue our regular game missing half the team, but the other members had done some traveling to get here and I didn't want to let them down either.
Enter Druids of the Carnivorous Jungle. With a few tweaks it fit in perfectly within our Humblewood campaign, and I was all set for a fun one-shot with my pals. They loved it!
I had a lot of fun playing this with my group, it was easy to read and not much side writing needed. This is my second one shot that I've played from this website and I'm a first time DM. 5/5 :D
As a relatively new GM I found this super easy to run. I believe it ran ever smoother than the Started Set! The PC’s enjoyed it too and had a really good time, with some new and some experienced. I also altered a few things to make it fit into my own campaign which was great! I would highly recommended for new and seasoned players.
